Datex announces acquisition of Digital Fairway Corp Assets
Mississauga, ON – January 20, 2010
Datex Billing Services Inc. (“Datex”), a company operating in the Billing Support System (BSS), Operations Support System (OSS) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) spaces, today announced that it has acquired the principal intellectual property assets of Digital Fairway Corporation.
These assets provide Datex with a proven, innovative Operations Support System (OSS) platform providing order management, service activation, workflow, and provisioning capabilities across a wide variety of Service Provider business models.
Jim Dawson, President of Datex, said “We have worked with Digital Fairway for the past several years and have completed the integration of the Datex BSS with the Digital Fairway OSS in a production environment for one of our current clients. We are extremely excited by the opportunities this acquisition represents”.
The DFC OSS assets have been implemented by service providers, utilicoms and hardware manufacturers over the past decade, with several significant technology deployments.
