Datex Communications Inc was founded.

1994

Datex launched its Customer Accounts Receivable System (CARS), based on software that it had developed to enable telecommunication service providers and resellers to create, maintain and view all critical customer information and invoices. This process is known today as our customer lifecycle management.

1996

Datex introduced an integrated, web-based version of its customer lifecycle management and billing application. This innovative product, called Internet Customer Accounts Receivable System (iCARS), allowed Datex to increase its market penetration among small-to-mid sized telecommunication service providers.

1999

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE:ACS) ("ACS"), a Dallas-based company, acquired Datex. Operating as a subsidiary of ACS under the name ACS Canada Inc., the business expanded its presence in the United States serving numerous large telecommunication service providers. ACS Canada Inc. carried on its operations until June 2001, at which time the business was re-acquired by the original founders and renamed Datex Billing Services Inc.

The Datex BSS solution and the Digital Fairway OSS solution are both currently deployed, and integrated, in a production environment at a current Datex client. With this acquisition, Datex now offers a complete end to end B/OSS solution.
